#2 "Pokémon Emergency!"

    Ash carries the battered Pikachu into Viridian City, directly to the Pokémon Center. On the way he meets Officer Jenny, on the lookout for Pokémon thieves, but after realizing his innocence gives him a ride. Misty is following Ash, carrying her battered bike. At the Pokémon Center, Nurse Joy promises to do what she can, but it's a tense few moments until Pikachu is pronounced safe...

    Misty demands that Ash repay her for her broken bike. Then Jessie, James and Meowth send the Pokémon Ekans and Koffing to destroy the Pokémon Center and steal all the Pokémon. Joy starts to send Pokéballs to Pewter's Pokémon Center, but in the meantime, something must be done. Ash gives Pikachu a power-up and a mean thundershock sends Team Rocket packing... Unfortunately, the Rockets have also discovered that Pikachu is a very powerful Pokémon...
