So far, six Pokémon movies have been released in the U.S. A and the seventh movie is on the way.

Movie #1 - Pokémon: The First Movie - Mewtwo Strikes Back (1999)
Movie #2 - Pokémon: The Movie 2000 - The Power of One (2000)
Movie #3 - Pokémon 3: The Movie - Spell of the Unown (2001)
Movie #4 - Pokémon 4Ever - Celebi: The Voice of the Forest (2002)
Movie #5 - Pokémon Heroes - Latios and Latias (2003)
Movie #6 - Pokémon - Jirachi Wish Maker (2004)
Movie #7 - Pokémon: Destiny Deoxys (2005)
Movie #8 - Due out in 2006 this movie features Mew and the all new POKéMON Lucario.

Feature-Length Specials

Confusingly, the Pokémon feature-length specials are marketed as "movies" in the U.S., and indeed, they are, in many ways, like a movie. However, they shouldn't be confused with the actual Pokémon movies listed above.

While the feature-length specials are shown on TV in Japan, they typically go direct-to-video in the U.S.
