Better late than never, the game sales pages for 2005 and overall have been updated. For the month of November each game saw sales go up except for Pinball R & S and XD: GoD. A milestone was also reached as Colosseum has passed the 1 million mark now! The next milestone I want to see is Emerald surpassing Fire Red and we may well see that depending how Decembers data turns out since they're neck and neck so far. We'll see in due time!

This weeks TV Schedule is up. It's the final week of KidsWB weekdays as well. Cartoon Network hasn't scheduled POKéMON to air daily yet that I know of so for now, this is the final chance to see weekday POKéMON action. In other news, I've finished up the Adventures part of the manga section by adding pages for volumes 3 through 7. Merry Christmas!

According to this pdf on 4Kids website, as of next year, POKéMON USA will take back all right to license the POKéMON property as well as the rights to the anime as well. This is similar to how earlier in the month they took back the TCG. It will be very interesting to see how season nine of the show turns out as it won't be helmed by 4Kids any longer.

As this year comes to a close we see that POKéMON has again come out on top in the TV Ratings for last week. But with reruns beginning, will it still make the grade? We'll see! Also I've gotten the Trainer's Choice from this seasons second episode up. Down to missing only one now.

Ah, it seems that volume 10 is also hitting on the same date as 9, so the Advanced Challenge dvd page has once again been updated. More importantly though is that the manga has gotten a big overhaul. Pages for vol.3 & 4 of Dengeki are up, a page for volume 2 of Adventures is now in place and lastly, all seven volumes of Magical POKéMON Journey are now covered!

The Advanced Challenge dvd page has been updated to include boxart for volumes 7 & 8 along with a release date and episodes covered for volume 9. I've also fixed up the site map a good deal to reflect our 2005 content instead of letting it be stuck back in 2003.

hmm. Lots of news lately. So anyway according to this article at Modojo, the DS POKéMON puzzle game will hit the US on March 6th of next year. I had kind of expected it would hit sooner than March, but ah...oh well.

Earlier this year a gene that causes cancer was named the "pokemon" gene. For a refresher the story can be read here. Well now some months later Nintendo of America had threatened legal action and as reported by Gamespot, and so the genes name has been changed. It's understandable but still kind of sad...

It's been a long time coming but I've got to tinkering with the sites design and have managed to tighten things up rather nicely. We're back to the cold wintery color scheme from last year for those who remember. Also updated is the POKéMON Dash page which has had little bits of info fixed & added.

Interesting news day. First of all a french website located here has reported that worldwide sales of POKéMON has hit $30 billion in revenue.
Secondly, ICV2 has reported in this article that POKéMON USA will take charge of marketing and distributing the TCG here in the states. It also notes that the POKéMON TCG is still very popular. So expect it and the franchise as a whole to continue going on for a long time to come. What fad?

This is some good stuff tonight as I've got updates to a pair of mini-guides. First up is the Battle Frontier guide, which now contains a flurry of new pictures. All of the facilities are covered this time around. And secondly is the POKé Spots guide. It now has completed data on the varying levels of wild POKéMON in XD:GoD.
