It seems we have an official date on the English release of Ruby / Sapphire. You can expect it on March 17, 2003! Its a long wait, but it will be worth it.

I started working on a Ruby / Sapphire Pokedex. It is not yet complete, and is missing alot of info. It only has pages for 1-51 at the moment, and I will continue to add more pages and info later on. If you all want a sneek peek, check it out here.

TV Schedule

Ta la la ... I've decided to add a TV schedule to the anime section. Now you won't have to search all over for when and what episode will air...but I will hehe. I'll try to update it every Sunday or Monday before the next weeks episodes start.

According to CN's online schedule the long missing episode "Tentacool and Tentacruel" will be airing Tuesday December 3rd at 9 p.m. This episode hasn't been aired in the US for at least over a year and is a rather good one, especially for Misty lovers. There's no sign of "Beauty and the Beach" which should technically air before T&T. Oh well, I'll keep you posted.

I took a day off yesterday for my birthday, so I worked extra hard today! I finally finished the walkthrough, all the way to the battle tower. All that is left now is the extra stuff, such as secret areas. Be sure to check out our finished RuSa Walkthrough!

Major Update

I just did one major update. I finshed Part 6, which starts at Hiwamaki City, and I finished Part 7, which ends at the Rune Gym. I do not expect to update again today, unless I do it really late, and I get alot done.

March is the Month

Next March is going to be a big month for Pokémon fans. Firstly, Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire for Game Boy Advance will be released in the US on March 17th, 2003. Then, the Pokémon 4Ever DVD will be released on day later, on March 18th.

POKéMON Adventures On The Orange Islands 1

The Orange Island series has finally begun coming to video!
The cover and disc art are very nice and well done. A snapshot from each of the discs 12(!) episodes overlay what looks to be the official Orange Island map. How cool!
The episodes start at Pallet Party Panic and go all the way up to The Joy of POKéMON. Oh and by the way, the recently re-named Spirits in the Sky episode goes back to its original dub title, A Scare in the Air.
The picture quality isn't bad at all. It's better then tv quality but not as good as the movies. Probably due to stuffing so many episodes on one disc. There is one thing though that looks really bad and that is the "Gotta catch 'em all! POKéMON!" commercial bumpers which play at the start of an episode. Not good at all.
Unfortunately there's no POKéRAP or the Jukebox that played at the end of the shows on tv. The "Who's That POKéMON?" are all there in the middle of each episode though. The episode selection menu is cool looking but a little slow to navigate. As you go through the episodes the cursor moves along through the islands with the intro and closing themes at the start and end. And there's no scene selection either so you'll have to watch an episode from start to end.
As for the extras well... there is a POKéMON 4 Ever trailer. There's English subtitles as well and english audio only. But hey, who needs extras when you have 12 great episodes to spend your time with anyway?
Any Orange Island lover should definetely pick this up. Not only does it have 4 times as many episodes as the other POKéTV dvds but it doesn't cost more, infact I got mine for a little less!
Now the wait begins for disc 2!

I did a couple of updates so far. I changed the Pokédex page around a bit. The games page also got a new look. I also added an Archive section, to have things more organized. Thats about it for now.
