-------
Round 1
-------

This is the first round of the Grand Melee! Let's hear from each referee in turn! First up is X-Rok!

The screen displays a test pattern, and it's high pitched beed rings loudly. A blur of digital pixellated white text appears on the screen, with some kind of camera code: GM01-SECx SERIES x. It remains for a moment, then disappears, returning to just the test pattern. The beep stops, and then the picture flicks to black. Dead silence for a moment or two, a short crackle of static as it phases through the 'snow' visual before going to a blue screen. Then the picture finally cuts in.

It's a mostly overhead shot, showing the outdoor funhouse section of the park. The triangle point of the star is walled up, and taken up mostly by buildings, with a small clearing branching in from the center of the star around the gate to the section. The buildings almost fill in around the clearing, but a small path is left, leading to the monorail station that towers above the buidings, standing on its single massive concrete support pillar. Nothing is visible aside from the buildings. The camera view begins to move, and as more of the clearing comes into view, we can see two moving specks in the clearing. It's a trainer and it's pokmon. The camera zooms in, the picture appearing more unsteady as it does, the movement illusioned to have increased. The zooming stops, apparently as it's reached it's maximum zoom. The pokmon appears to be an Umbreon, but the zoom is insufficient to identify the trainer... A Magnemite appears into view in the corner, a device looking like a camera hanging from beneath it...

Angle change. The view is much closer, and appears to be from the viewpoint of the Magnemite. Finally we have enough detail, and we can confirm that the trainer is pokemongerGS, with his Umbreon Hakubo. The two press up against the wall, right next to the curtain entryway to the trampoline room. On the other side of the door from them, a floormat is spread out, probably for normal visitors' shoes when entering the room.

Camera switch again. It's back to the somewhat bouncy movement of the previous camera, probably a wing-flapping flyer. It's right near the monorail station, looking down. Two more figures are running, headed for the clearing. A Scizor... and it must be iron scizor running with him. They round the corners to come out into the clearing, eyeing pokemonger and Hakubo, and heading for them. Suddenly they stop, as does everyone else, and a powerful noise is blasted out across the speakers. Someone somewhere has caused this, and everyone takes damage. Hopefully one of the other referees will be able to shed light as to what has happened here. But besides, everyone else is moving on again now, after being on the receiving end of that shock.

Another camera switch. It's a stationary camera, probably wall-mounted, and in its field of view, we see walls. Lots of walls. A T intersection merges and heads towards the camera, with a path off to the left about halfway down, and turning to the right just in front of the camera. Nothing moves for a bit, then a bird comes from the right at the T intersection. It's a Noctowl. A Rhyhorn follows behind it loudly, its rock-like feet reacting loudly with the floor. They turn and head towards the camera, and soon two trainers follow behind the two pokmon. It's Aipom and Cyndaquil7, Aipom leading while Cyndaquil7 tries to keep up. It looks like they already met up inside the room of walls, and are headed out. They approach the camera, and when it looks like Noctowl is about to fly into the camera, he turns right, continuing through the maze. Rhyhorn follows, and as they catch up, so do Aipom and Cyndaquil7.

Camera switch again. This time, it's a fairly dimly lit interior, and the ground puffs up in rows, inflated. This must be the 'trampoline' room, even though it's not a real trampoline. In the center of the screen, we can see the door to the outside. On the side of the screen at the far end of the room, another few people can be seen. A trainer leaning against the puffy walls, and a flying pokmon. The camera turns towards them and zooms in, revealing EnaTigress and Magnemite. They're standing ready, as though they're waiting for the others to show up...

Back to the far above overhead view of the clearing, but a fair bit closer now. The door to the room of walls bursts open in a blast of flame, the door flying into the clearing and sliding to a stop, still burning. An Arcanine leads the way out, followed closely by its trainer, Mauler 5150, who make a beeline for the door to the trampoline room. pokemongerGS and iron scizor notice him, and get ready to go. Shortly following Mauler out of the room of walls, come Noctowl, HornClammer, Aipom, and Cyndaquil7, all making their way across the clearing to the trampoline room doors. Two, three, five... It appears most of this alliance has grouped up quickly. But there's still one missing...

The picture switches again, this time to a roof-mounted camera in the house of mirrors, looking down on the maze through the two-way mirror roof. Inside we can see Gligar and Mewzard, stumbling around a bit, trying to find their way out, lost amidst the mirrors. Around a corner, and wham! Gligar flies into itself in a mirror. And the funny thing is they appear to be heading further into the maze, into the tighter corner near the door to the dark room.

The camera feed goes back to that from the trampoline room, just in time to see Sparky, Mauler 5150's Arcanine, come leaping in through the curtain doorway. EnaTigress and Magnemite are already waiting for something, and this appears to be it. Magnemite begins a Thunder Wave on the intruder, while at the same time a translucent bubble appears around Sparky. Arcanine growls at Magnemite a bit, and when he doesn't show signs of paralyzations it's realized that it's a Safeguard protecting Arcanine from the effect. Mauler 5150 and the rest of his friends come through shortly after, now keeping a bit of a distance to watch the battle between Magnemite and Sparky. Mauler's pokmon begins a Flamethrower, breathing heavy flame at the metallic lifeform. Magnemite manages to escape, leaving the flame to continue, right at EnaTigress, who dives out of the way. The flame does damage to the wall, the plastic beginning to melt yet not piercing just yet. Sparky and Magnemite continue to face each other, and the others keep their distance to watch the fight.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the trampoline room, the door connecting to the dark room opens, and then a little struggling is heard. The upper body of a Snorlax pokes out, pushing down against the sides of the door trying to get through. He slowly moves through, and eventually pops out, bouncing and rolling on the air floor a bit with widespread effects, Snorlax's heavy weight shaking 90% of the air-filled balloon floor. A tired-looking ChaosRocket follows out behind him, looking like he was just pushing a pickup truck for two hours. They see the rest of their alliance and go join them, the full alliance now 'surrounding' the less experienced EnaTigress and Magnemite.

Good report X-Rok, let's hear from Surreal.

In the Nature Park, it is anything but normal.

The tourists here are of course, non-existent because of the battles, and the only thing that does remain are the wild Pokmon. Scattered in this area is Aaron the Great, P2K1 with his Charmeleon, Starmie3001 with his Starmie, Sponge with HIS Starmie, Noctowl: Mr. Ho with his Diglett, W Man, and finally, Silver_Gyarados with his Charmander, as you can probably see.

First thing I wonder is, where's Noctowl's Diglett at? I can't see it anywhere, but there's a lot of dust building up around his area, which may or may not let other trainer's see where he is. Starmie and Sponge can see the clouds of dust, them being the two trainers that's closest to Noctowl, but it's not catching any of their attention. They are stopped suddenly, like the other trainers in the area, as a powerful noise is blasted from all the speakers, particularly the main one. Someone's signature move is causing havoc, though no-one knows whose it is. But having taken damage like everyone else, Starmie3001 and Sponge return to their game plan. They're leaving the area and meeting up at the .. First Aid tent, via their Starmie's Teleportation.

On the far right of the Snorlax couple, I can see that a battle has already intiated, between .. W Man, and Aaron the Great! A dense blue Mist has clouded everything up, leaving Aaron's Dratini to hopelessly use its Multi-Hued Breath attack, since it can't see anyting. The two gases are swirling together and mixing, but I can see both Aaron and W Man stumbling out. Apparently, the Dratini's signature move had affected both sides, although I would think that the Mist weakened it a bit.

Another battle has started, this time between P2K1 and Silver_Gyarados! Now it's a face-off between Charmeleon and Charmander. I can see intensity of the fire as it builds up in Charmeleon's throat, and a Flamethrower is shot directly at Charmander! Seeing as how Charmander would not like to be roasted anytime soon, both Silver_Gyarados and his Pokmon are now fleeing. Charmeleon and P2K1 is hot (bad pun DON'T SHOOT) on their trails, although the cages of Scyther will probably be annoyed if any fire happens to be shot in their swarm.

Thanks Surreal. Rabscuttle, what's happening where you are?

Owwww....

The noise we've just been deafened by was caused by arnold's Heracross who's somehow pulled a guitar out of nowhere. My ears are ringing and everyone I can see is clutching their head in pain.

After that noise, it's pretty quiet by comparison. Murgatroyd and his Misdreavus are heading towards the centre of the park, no wait, he's stopped and is looking in a bin...Abysmal Flames with three Kangaskhan have just spotted Sniper404 and his Houndour down by the giant slide. Abysmal and Kangaskhan are running towards them...Houndour has released a Smokescreen and I can't make anything out.

Uh-oh, looks like something big is happening....Oracle and his Charmander are down by the Merry-Go-Round. Charmander has a strange glow and she's looking up, arms outstretched. Oh , there's flaming chunks of rock hurtling down from the sky...everyone down here is panicking...Oracle and the Charmander responsible have disappeared underground.

It's complete anarchy here, most people are just trying to avoid the meteors. That was close! - Murgatroyd and his Misdreavus have dived under a flying saucer shaped ride, I think Misdreavus may have been hurt...There's another crashing down near Arnold, he's running into the Tunnel of Love, and plunging his arm in the water. Unown Annon is carrying his Zubat in the ticket booth for the log ride - it must be confused due to the noise. Oh no! The bouncing castle has been hit, and it's slowly sagging to the ground. A meteor just crashed into the middle of the smoke! I can see Abysmal Flames and Kangaskhan running into the Ghost Train and Sniper and Houndour have ducked under the giant slide. Everyone has taken cover in or under the rides - which are holding up pretty well..the only casualty is the jumping castle.....*sob*....

And let's finally hear from The Mozz.

The seven trainers are all there, and it makes it easier for me knowing that four of them didn't bother sending in their selections, and two won't even attack.

The seven trainers are scattered underneath and in front of the coaster, as two trainers and their Pokemon head off quickly, a Porygon with its trainer BriGuy immediately boards the coaster, as a Charmeleon runs towards the rides section with its trainer, Dragon Master. The Charmeleon looks angry, with its head ready to shoot off fire if need be, but there is no need to at the moment. Hissing Arbok's Kadabra calmly puts up a barrier, as a loud screech is heard throughout the arena, "Blast From The Past" affecting everyone, as they all cringe. Just when you thought it was over, flaming meteors come hailing down, thankfully missing everyone, although part of the roller coaster is now in ruins already. Several parts of the track, and a small section of the monorail is in shambles. The monorail COULD still make it through the section, although it will be on very very shaky ground.

The remaining Pokemon and trainers feel some impact from the meteors as the fireballs are strewn about. Among these metal bars holding up the coaster, Poketrainer's Pidgey Quick Attacks TDPT's Cyndaquil, knocking it back, as its trainer shouts some words of encouragement. The Cyndaquil is a little worse, as it takes a Giga Drain, as Dark Haunter's Haunter looks happy in the corner. Tubbstar's Machop and Tubbstar himself are looking a little paranoid, taking defensive stances as the meteors continue to rain down.

Thanks Mozz. Now here's what's going on in the Main Section.

The battle begins. The eight trainers in the Main section immediately begin moving before my very eyes, almost all appearing to have one, solitary goal. Almost every trainer is moving towards the monorail station. I count six: Archaic, Skazz, Knightwolf, ChrisM, DoctorRon and B-Ball Natu. The other two trainers, Scyther and JagP, appear to have starkly different plans. Scyther is simply standing there, doing nothing. Scyther and her Pokmon, Charmeleon, are a sitting duck, but Archaic and his gang are not appearing to be interested, as they are converging on the monorail station. Knightwolf is riding on his Ponyta, Archaic has picked up his Pikachu and Skazz is racing at a fast pace with his Mankey, attempting to join the others, though he is further from the station than everyone else. ChrisM is moving calmly with Kadabra, and DoctorRon's Charmeleon is keeping lookout as they move along. Finally, B-Ball Natu is moving slowly towards the monorail station with Donphan, the pair looking around very suspiciously.

Meanwhile, I can see JagP's Lapras opening its mouth. And what's that? An Ice Beam! The ice is forming across the surface of concrete and now JagP has got on top of the Pokmon, which is now moving across the ice at rapid speed. It appears as if JagP is moving for the Rollercoaster area, and at some speed. But then everyone turns as they hear a horrible noise from the main speakers of the arena. Sounds like a signature move used by another Pokmon from another area. Everyone has taken some damage here, and JagP is on the move again. But what's this? Lapras has been struck by a meteor! Meteor's are falling on the South of the arena! This is far away from all of the other trainers, but it's caught their eyes. JagP has been struck, and is now on the floor with his Lapras!

But he gets back up and they continue on towards the Rollercoaster section. JagP has taken damage, as has Lapras, but they seem able to carry on! At the end of this turn, all of Archaic's cronies have converged at the station, except for Skazz, who is lagging slightly behind. Scyther is stranded near the station, looking worried for her life as the six powerful trainers look over at her. JagP is now right outside the gate to the Rollercoaster section and could enter next turn. Now we also have two new people in this section, as I've just heard a report that Starmie3001 and Sponge have Teleported to inside of the first aid tent. Let's take a look at the security camera inside the tent.

And I can now see the rumours are true. Starmie3001 and Sponge are both in the tent, with their Pokmon, Starmie. Starmie3001 has grabbed a Max Potion, and his Starmie is doing something else now. It's gone blue, and it appears to be using Psychic. Oh my goodness! Starmie has picked up the rejuvination machine! It's been chucked through the tent, and has landed straight into the ground outside! It looks pretty much busted, this is a quick twist in the battle! Things are gonna get interesting now!

Well that's all of our reports for this round folks! Keep your attacks coming in for the next 24 hours or so and the next result will be up soon after!

-------
Round 2
-------

Well here we are again, back viewing the action of this second round of the BG PASBL Grand Melee 2001! So Mozz, what's happening at the Rollercoaster? I just heard that the first knockout occured.

Yawn.. besides the flaming meteors, nothing much is going on.

BriGuy and Porygon are riding the Coaster, although it appears that their fun will end next round, as I can see that a huge portion of track that they will come up to next round is simply not there. Tubbstar, in the corner, is doing nothing as usual. Hissing Arbok is allegedly going to the rides section, but all I see is him simply disappearing via Kadabra's teleport.

TDPT and his Cyndaquil are doing nothing, but unlike Tubbstar, somebody has their eyes on ending TDPT's chances quite early indeed. Darkhaunter and his Haunter run over to TDPT, who is shocked and worried with his Pokmon, to see large chunks of rubble from the meteors come right towards the little fire mouse! Cyndaquil takes a few large hits to the head, as it already appears to be done for. A Shadow Ball from Haunter, and Cyndaquil is out, as the intense Ghost energy is too much for the little guy, especially when it doesn't do anything in return.

TDPT's Cyndaquil is unable to battle! The KO goes to DarkHaunter! But TDPT is still very much in action by himself, unless someone KO's him too!

Here comes Jag from the main section, apparently looking for CT.. err.. Dragon Master! He asks anyone if they've seen the trainer and Pokemon, and Dark Haunter points him towards the rides!

Jag and his Lapras are on their way, as the meteor shower is finally overwith. However, as the storm concludes, the roller coaster section is in ruins, with severe damage done towards the entrance, Coaster itself, and the monorail station. BriGuy looks to jump out of the rollercoaster, seeing the missing track ahead, but the car already started, as the big missing section appears close up ahead. He'll be in for one hell of a ride in the next round, as he is running out of time to attempt a painful, yet quick escape.

Back to you, Knob!

Thanks Mozz. And I'm hearing from my earpiece that there is some action happening over at the Nature Show. Enlighten us, Surreal.

The water is gurgling and churning near the Mist, and soon, an enormous wave of Surf arcs high above the Nature Park. In the centre of the attack itself, there's a dot, and at a closer look, I can see that it's W Man, mounted onto his Dragonair! I can see that the wave is slowly making its way towards the main area, where most of the action is anyway. Caught in the attack is Aaron the Great, and his Dratini, who have decided to ride the Surf, and all Noctowl: Mr Ho can do is run towards the exit of the Nature Park, a billowing cloud of dust following him.

The only two people I can see in the area are P2K1 and Silver_Gyarados. Charmeleon has finally gotten a hold of Charmander with a Seismic Toss, and just as it comes in to finish the attack, Charmander quickly breaks free by delivering a hard Mega Kick, leaving its higher evolutionary form gasping for breath. At this opportunity, Charmander and Silver_Gyarados hightail it again .. only to be stopped by the giant pool of water in front of him, and Charmeleon promptly fries its opponent with a Flamethrower.

Thanks for the report Surreal. Well, let's cross over to Rabscuttle for an outlook on the current situation.

The spots where the meteors hit are still burning, but they're far enough apart for people to avoid them. People are coming out from under their cover. There's Sniper - he's climbing onto his Houndoom's back and...wow, they're using agility to speed across to the Tunnel of Love. They're zipping past Abysmal Flames and Kangaskhan - that Water Gun barely touched them. Arnold and Heracross are coming out of the Tunnel - Heracross is aiming a Mega Horn - too slow! Houndoom dodges, he and Sniper are now inside and - jsut checking the security camera - they're climbed into a swan boat which is heading into the tunnel. Oracle and his Charmander have surfaced near the flying saucer type ride - they haven't noticed Murgatroyd's disembodied legs running towards the main section. Charmander shoots a Flamethrower at the ticket booth which starts to burn easily.

Hang on, Archaic, ChrisM, B-Ball Natu and their pokemon have just appeared down behind the spinning chairs. Archaic is dropping something onto his Pikachu...his Pikachu is evolving! ChrisM's Kadabra appears to be concentrating, but it looks too tired to succeed. Archaic is looking around warily - it's hard to read his expression, but I don't think he expected to be here. ChrisM and B-ball are watching him carefully.

Thanks Rabscuttle, what has X-Rok got for us?

And we're back, with more camera footage of the funhouse section. Right back to the action, we've got 6 of the 7 alliance members surrounding EnaTigress and her Magnemite, who has yet to have sent in any commands. Zombie action. EnaTigress looks a little on edge as she tries to keep her attention on those surrounding her, while Magnemite looks a bit nervous and twitchy, floating about and turning back and forth erratically. Then we see some action. Hakubo's and Sparky's mouthes both begin to gather flame, then fire two crossfire strams of flame at the Magnemite. It tries to 'rise to the occasion' and fly above the flame, but doesn't quite make it, and it's bottom half takes a heavy scorching as it rises, the flame streams trying to follow. The flames stop, and then everyone in the alliance begins to group together save iron scizor, who has decided to go on his own and attack the metal Magnemite.

Grabbed by the magnets, Magnemite is a bit surprised. iron scizor begins to pull, trying to 'rip off EnaTigress' Magnemite's magnets', as he so put it. This move is quite unwelcomed by Magnemite, and in a true Johnny 5 'No disassemble!' reaction, shocks the hell out of iron scizor, leaving him lying on his back extra crispy and paralyzed on the bouncy air-filled rubber floor. Down but not quite out.

Back at the grouping, we've got a bit of attempted teleportation. The members of the group begin to glow a bit, all unevenly, then only five of them disappear. Three trainers, and two pokmon, Sparky, ShadowScythe, Mauler 5150, Aipom, and pokemongerGS are gone. And the rest standing there a bit confused. HornClammer looks a little off, then closes his eyes and tries concentrating further, trying to perform a teleport when it's clearly unable to. A little delayed in their plan, the group turns back to Magnemite and EnaTigress...

Camera feed brings us back to the Hall of Mirrors, where once again we're watching Mewzard and his Gligar try to find their way out. An overhead view is showing us the corner of the maze again, right near the door to the Dark Room... and they've found it. Mewzard and Gligar open the door and head inside, the door closing begind them.

Whoa hang on folks, Rabscuttle's coming through again, with an extra report.

More arrivals! A whole bunch of people have appeared by the not-so-bouncy castle. They're checking their radar...and they're headed towards the swinging chairs. It's Mauler 5150 and his Pokmon Sparky, Aipom, ShadowScythe and pokemongerGS. This is a rag-tag group as these trainers and Pokmon have no real relation at all. This situation will make walkie talkies all the more valuable, at least trainers can still command their Pokmon.

Raichu's evolution is finished, and Archaic looks about to make a move. ShadowScythe races in Slashing with one claw, then turning and delivering a Metal Claw with the other. The trainers all face each other, as Archaic appears to have realised that he has been tricked into a now pretty bad situation. He is surrounded by five trainers and four Pokmon, things are beginning to look glum.

Thanks for that brief update Rabscuttle. Now here's what's been going on in the Main section.

Archaic appears to have beckoned across ChrisM much earlier in the round, and him and his Kadabra have prepared to Teleport. But a late arrival in the form of B-Ball Natu has ensured that he has hitched a lift as well. They've disappeared off somewhere, and as you now know, that place is the Rides section. Meanwhile, the remains of Archaic's alliance have gone their seperate ways.

Skazz is heading quickly towards the sideshows, as is Knightwolf, and DoctorRon is making smooth and fast progress towards the Rollercoaster section. None of the people are making it to their locations, it's all too far, but they are getting closer and closer with every passing second. Indeed, Knightwolf is getting there the fastest, as he is mounted on his Flying Ponyta. Sponge and Starmie3001 are remaining in place this round after taking out the rejuvination machine, and are so still in the First Aid tent. However they appear anxious and about ready to leave this place.

And wait a second, there's Dragon Master. He's moving across towards the Rides section, and right on his heels is JagP. And what's this? Another trainer has just Teleported outside of the Rides section. It's Hissing Arbok, and he appears to be waiting for something as both Dragon Master and JagP approach. Is this another new alliance forming? We shall see in the next round!

-------
Round 3
-------

It's the third round, and this one is the most interesting one to date! First, The Mozz!

As usual, this section is the least lively. Jag finishes his sprint past us, on his way following Dragon Master.

The only interesting thing that is going on is BriGuy and Porygon facing certain death! That's always fun, of course. No such luck this time, as Porygon teleports the two of them just in time, as they go somewhere else, who the hell knows. The cart falls off the tracks, and right by Tubbstar and his Pokemon!! As the smoke clears, the two of them look in bad shape, as they are surrounded by flaming wreckage.

And of course, since this is the unpopular section, DarkHaunter and his Haunter are fleeing for the main section. Ughh...

Poketrainer sees TDPT, as these are the only two trainers left in the section. Of course, TDPT had to return his Pokemon, so Pidgey and Poketrainer eye this as an easy KO. Pidgey quickly uses Gust, as TDPT goes flying into a pillar.

So, at the moment we have TDPT at the brink of total elimination, as Poketrainer is ready to finish him off. Tubbstar is in the corner, hurt with his Pokemon from the crash.

Three trainers, two Pokemon. Real Boring.

Erm... that's not the best way to end a round, but hopefully things are hotting up in the Rides! Is that right Rabscuttle?

Well, there's quite a menacing crowd around Archaic and his Raichu... Aipom's turned and he's running away... the rest of them are moving forwards...

There's a Thunderwave from Raichu as Mauler, Arcanine and Archaic vanish! Everyone else has fallen over, paralysed. Sponge and his Starmie have just appeared - Sponge is looking around - nope they've gone again, taking Raichu with them.

We've got some action up near the gates to the main section - arnold's heading into the monorail station, Oracle has seen him - his Charmander is blowing a smokescreen, now a flamethrower - that smoke is too thick to see how effective it was. Abysmal Flames is outside the Ghost Train still - he's doing a Dot and climbing into Kangaskhan's pouch...ewwww...anyway, Kangaskhan is leaping up...and down for an Earthquake, that's going to hit a few people - yes, Aipom's fallen on his face, the ticket booth Unown Annon is it has tipped over, and it looks like Oracle and his Charmander are also somewhat affected.

Everyone by the swinging chairs is picking themselves, the minor tremors from the quake seem to have helped cure the paralysis. They don't look happy about Raichu slipping through their fingers. They're not attacking this round, the paralysis took a heavy toll on them all.

OK Rabscuttle, what's been going on at your end Surreal?

*cries* Everyone's trying to leave..

The Surf wave has easily grown in size and proportion, leaving the zoo Pokmon even more vulnerable to drowning. I can see the Snorlax couple riding the wave (see? Being fat isn't so bad), and both Aaron the Great and his Pokmon have grabbed onto them. A Substitute doll of Dratini is forming, and he sends the item into the wave, hoping for it to catch up to Dragonair and W Man, who're about thirty metres away. W Man takes no notice of this, and his Dragonair leaps, propelled with Agility, off of the tsunami, headly directly towards the .. cloud of dust?

The wave slowly begins to rise, before it plunges downwards entirely, a little weakened for some reason. Aaron the Great takes haste to bounce onto his Dratini, and they swerve off to the side, landing in the jungle part of the zoo. Fortunately, they avoided the entire crystallization of water as Trainer BriGuy makes an apperance in the Nature Park with his Porygon. I can see that a Blizzard has done the perfect job of getting rid of the Surf.

Apparently, Noctowl: Mr. Ho's Diglett has not been lost at all - it was the dust that was following him. The several Sinkholes that it had left were the things that were weakening the Surf; W Man and his Dragonair have also been trapped, as both of them have fallen in the single, giant Sinkhole that Noctowl: Mr. Ho left as a present. I can see him grin, but now, he's dangerously close to Trainer BriGuy, so that might mean a battle.

But what's this? Aaron the Great and his Dratini have found their way through the jungle (and that shouldn't be a problem anyway - who can ignore a frozen tsunami?). They head towards the Sinkhole, and Aaron smiles. A burst of ice energy comes from Dratini; the Ice Beam jumps into the hole, and smashes into Dragonair, delivering heavy damage. Away from the chaos is P2K1 and Silver_Gyarados.

Charmeleon has delivered a Fire Punch to Silver_Gyarados' Charmander, knocking him into the remaining water, and heavily weakening it. I can see that the Tackle afterwards is too much for it, and Charmander faints, leaving only Silver_Gyarados to fend for himself. Isn't that just posh?

OK Surreal, hopefully all the missing pieces of the puzzle will be filled in with mine and X-Rok's posts. Talking of X-Rok...

And once again we're in the bounce room, with more action. EnaTigress and Magnemite have backed up a bit, up against the wall. *Thunk.* EnaTigress backs into the wall, but down where his heel hits it's not soft like all the other walls. It must be the access panel to the Tunnel of Love.

All of a sudden we hear a couple of crackles and orders coming in over walkie-talkies, to the seperated pokmon, Aipom's Noctowl and pokemongerGS's Hakubo. iron scizor, still mostly paralyzed and still smoking a bit, struggles to lift his walkie-talkie, and sends a few orders out over it. Then they move. Noctowl uses a light Psychic to throw EnaTigress' team out of the way of the door in the direction of the Dark Room, Magnemite stopping as soon as the Psychic control is lifted, while EnaTigress hits the ground and bounces around a bit. Cyndaquil7 runs over and opens the panel, while Noctowl and Hakubo go through, Hakubo then jumping on Noctowl's back and they fly down the tunnel. HornClammer comes bouncing across the floor, and Cyndaquil7 jumps on his back as they head through the doorway. Snorlax is next, and once again there is a bit of a struggle, ChaosRocket having to push from behind to help get Snorlax through. During this, iron scizor still struggles to get up. EnaTigress, now back on her feet, and a bit ticked after being pushed away, looks for someone to take out a little anger on, and with Snorlax and ChaosRocket just popping through the door into the tunnel, iron scizor is the only one left. Perfect, an opportunity to release a little anger and payback for the attempted attack to Magnemite. EnaTigress takes a running start at IS, who is on his hands and knees at this point, and places a solid kick to his side, sending him rolling across the rubber floor a bit with a shout of pain. Now lying on his back, EnaTigress has an opportunity to seize a few points... and does. A hard stomp down on iron scizor's chest is the limit breaker, and he passes into unconsciousness.

Into the Tunnel of Love. We've got a camera view watching down the tunnel that connects the two parts to the Rides and Funhouse section. A ways down already, Noctowl carries Hakubo on it's back. Cyndaquil7 rides HornClammer down the pathway on the side, and Snorlax floats in the water on it's back, kicking with its feet to propel itself through the water while ChaosRocket sits on it's stomach, riding. Then comes one of the tunnel boats, looking like a large Golduck. Noctowl and Hakubo fly over it, and HornClammer stampedes past it... while Snorlax is on a collision course in the water. Two figures leap out of it onto the side path just before impact...

**WHAM!**

Snorlax swims right into it, hitting it out of the way to the side, then kinda lifting up onto the side as Snorlax swims by. The two that bailed from the Golduck, they start running towards the open access panel... It's Sniper404 and Obscor.

They come out into the Trampoline room, and only EnaTigress, her Magnemite, and a KO'd iron scizor remain. Obscor begins exhaling a heavy smog, and it soon begins to fill the room. Sniper404 and Obscor then begin to leave, while EnaTigress begins to cough badly. Sniper404 and Obscor step outside, then Obscor turns back and gathers flame in it's mouth...

****BOOM!!!****

A massive eplosion is heard inside the trampoline room, and flames fire out from the front door, Obscor and Sniper404 ducking and covering.

Inside the trampoline room, there was no hope for Enatigress and Magnemite. Both are KO'd, and the floor is no longer bouncy, the explosion melting numerous holes in the rubber and letting the air out. It's now pretty much a three foot deep pit.

A quick switch to the Dark Room, a few moments ago. The camera view glows green, with night vision technology. We see Mewzard and Gligar just approaching the door to the Trampoline room, then we hear the explosion. The door blows open, and flames burst out, scorching Mewzard and Gligar who were pretty much right in front of the door. Not a bad burning or anything, just singing a lot of hair and mostly shocking them. Suddenly, Hissing Arbok appears, and it looks like his Kadabra is glowing... and there goes Gligar, who is being chucked around the room via a Psychic attack. Gligar is taking damage, and now Mewzard seems keen to take on this new enemy. Hissing Arbok looks more than up to the challenge, with surprise still on his side.

Back at the clearing, Sniper and Obscor get up and see Archaic standing alone in the middle of the Funhouse clearing... WHEN DID THIS HAPPEN?

[replay] The time in the corner indicates this is very early in the round, and we've got the same camera we had at the opening of round one, flying high above the park. A bright flash, and then we see three figures. The camera zooms in, and it's Mauler 5150, Sparky, and Archaic.

We switch to the lower camera, to get a close up on it. Sparky prepares to pounce, and then Crunch's Archaic hard. Archaic is inflicted with heavy pain, and falls to the ground, shaking. Mauler stands above him, imposing. [/replay]

Thanks X-Rok.

Now, to my Main Section. Here we have another round underway. And it's starting off slowly, as everyone is splitting again. Knightwolf and Skazz are heading for the Sideshow Alley, and both appear to have arrived without any mishap whatsoever. DoctorRon meanwhile has changed his course, and is now also heading for the Sideshow Alley. Scyther appears to be taking this chance to make a move at last, and she is heading right for the monorail station. Meanwhile Knightwolf and Skazz have been looting, and Knightwolf has stolen a hammer, and Skazz a... security camera?! One can only wonder what these two are going to do with these items...

She knows her stuff, that train should be arriving any time soon. There's a roar over towards the Nature show, as I see Noctowl: Mr. Ho leave the section and enter the Main section, looking a little bit wet, but otherwise OK. Meanwhile, there are Teleporting antics happening everywhere. Hissing Arbok has disappeared to who know's where, as has Sponge. But wait a moment, here he is back again, and it looks like Raichu is with him! But where's Archaic?

Murgatroyd is moving on towards the Sideshow Alley now as well, and he's picked up a handful of darts from the Burst-A-Balloon stall. He's just missed JagP, who has finally caught up with Dragon Master, who is also standing still, surrounded by an awesome Protect field. DarkHaunter93 is also on the scene now, as he has just left the Rollercoaster section, from which a huge crashing noise has just occured.

Finally, Starmie3001 is standing still once again in the First Aid, along with Sponge and Raichu, he really should learn to send in his attacks on time! Sponge has taken a potion, and everyone looks ready for the next round. No combat has taken place here really yet, but this Main Section is slowly filling up, the pressure must be mounting.

That's all for now!

EDIT: Fixed error in last paragraph w/ permission of Knobert.

-------
Round 4
-------

This is the fourth round now, and it is a very interesting one! More teams are out, read on to find out who! Mozz, I hear you've got something quick and easy for us.

Maybe something interesting will happen. We have Tubbstar, poketrainer and TDPT, who doesn't even have a Pokemon to help him anymore! TDPT, overwhelmed by poketrainer's Pidgey's gust attack, lies almost motionless now. Leaning against a pillar, a quick kick and TDPT is out cold!

Wobby: I guess that's what happens when you don't send in attacks.

Mozz: Weren't you outside for my rally?

Wobby: Shut up, I need to make your ref posts more interesting!

Mozz: Because nobody's here?

Wobby: Precisely.

Tubbstar and Machop, who are near fainting, somehow dig their way through, and reappear halfway in the middle of the coaster. As poketrainer looks over the fainted body of TDPT, unable to see Tubbstar sneak behind him, as he heads out. DarkHaunter93 also reappears, looking for poketrainer2001. He spots him, and his Haunter unleashes three powerful Thunderbolt attacks! The attacks drain Haunter mucho energy, but it looks able to carry on, as well as taking out poketrainer2001 in the process. DarkHaunter isn't one to leave a job half done, and runs in landing a repeated nummber of kicks to poketrainer2001, and taking him down as well! Another team out of the Grand Melee!

Wobby: Wow, Mozz, great ref post with only 4 people.

Mozz: Meh. Knobert, back to you.. Wobby, where's the scotch?!

Thanks Mozz. And Wobby as well for your... invaluable help. And now onto Surreal who has more water antics to tell us of in the Nature Section.

I can see that W Man's Dragonair is on the lookout from the hole, and Dratini's Substitute miraculously pops up .. only to be fried it with a sharp Flamethrower. What's this? W Man's using the water underneath from him to propel him up again with Waterfall! Both of them are now back on the standard level of the Nature Park, and giving them some time to hop back on land.

On the other hand, Aaron the Great and his Dratini have easily avoided the Sinkholes, until W Man suddenly comes up and delivers a hard kick to Aaron's head, knocking him forward. Ouch, that must've hurt. Dratini turns around to see what's going on, and he's greeted by a faceful of dirt from W Man! Someone's playing dirty, now.

I can see that that doesn't stop that fiesty little Dratini from using a Surf, and the what's left of the lake shakes, and it rushes to the left side, where P2K1 is. Much larger, and much stronger than the previous tsunami, P2K1 and his Charmeleon are both engulfed by the attack. When the water clears, I can see that the Snorlax couple are both using knocked out Charmeleon and P2K1 as sofas. Silver_Gyarados is also down and out, two more teams will now be watching the rest of the Grand Melee from their rooms in the hotel.

Trainer BriGuy is watching the action unfold in front of him between W Man and AarontheGreat. Then he falls to the ground, as it begins to shake violently. Trainer BriGuy looks around to see Noctowl: Mr. Ho in the main section causing the problems. This powerful attack causes damage to all the nearby trainers. But this is nothing when the trainers suddenly hear a loud creaking noise. The power of the underground earthquake attack has caused the ice on the Surf from before to start to crack. The trainers are looking very anxious and worried, and begin to get ready to take flight, as the Surf begins to slowly break through. Next round we could have a tidal wave on our hands, to take out the rest of the Nature Park, and its entrance.

Thanks for the report. Now here is X-Rok getting us up to date on the Funhouse section. What's happening between Archaic and Mauler 5150?

And this section of Round 4 begins in darkness... or rather, a green glow of night vision. We're in the Dark Room, and we see Mewzard facing HissingArbok. Gligar looks a bit hurting, after several slams to the roof and floor, but still has some fight left. Mewzard is about to lunge at HissingArbok, but then there's a bright flash of light, and HissingArbok and Absi are gone, leaving Mewzard quite confused.

Back to the roaming view of the center area, we've got a pained Archaic on high guard, watching out for an attack from either Mauler 5150 or Sparky. Sniper404 has left the confrontation, riding away on Obscor who takes off with an Agility. Then goes Mauler. He jumps in at Archaic, and the two engage in a little melee round. Mauler's on the offensive throwing a number of punches and kicks at Archaic, who simply concentrates on avoiding the blows, which he does quite well, only needing to block two or three shots. The two break off after a rather neutral battle, and then in come two teleports. HissingArbok and Absi on Mauler 5150's side, and Sponge and Starmie on Archaic's side. There one moment, gone the next as both teleport off, leaving the clearing empty as HA's and Mauler's teams teleport off together, and Sponge's team teleports off with Archaic.

Back to what little action is left in here, we're back in the Dark Room, which is slightly lit from the open doorway to the Trampoline Room. Mewzard and Gligar try to enjoy a few moments of rest, only to be interrupted by Sniper404 and Obscor, who jump out of the pit that is the Trampoline Room and in through the blasted-open door of the Dark Room. Mewzard jumps up, and the damaged Gligar follows, as ready as it can be for this opponent. Sniper404 jumps off Obscor's back, and then Obscor makes a move. Flame gathers in it's mouth, and then the stream fires off at Gligar, who narrowly manages to escape, the flame hitting the far wall behind them. We could have an interesting battle between these two... which is about all the action that we'll be seeing from this section for the next while.

Now, onto the most popular section, the Rides! What new events have been happening here?

Everyone left by the swining chairs are starting a slow run back towards the centre of the park - that's Pokemonger, ChrisM and Kadabra, B-ball and Donphan, and a Scizor, iron scizor's I believe. Aipom's picked himself up, but he looks a little more cautious after that earthquake - he's staying put and talking into his walkie talkie.

Something's happening in the Tunnel of Love! Let's see...there's Cyndaquil and his Rhyhorn near the exit, along with an Umbreon and a Noctowl - pokemonger's and Aipom's respectively - I think they're getting orders through Cyndaquil's radio - yow, looks like trouble! Umbreon and Noctowl have broken apart, Cyndaquil and Rhyhorn are just getting out of there and I don't blame them. Umbreon's charging up, this could be bad for Noctowl - no, Noctowl is using a whirlwind to propel himself out of the tunnel! Umbreon's Hyper Beam misses Noctowl...and hits Snorlax! ChaosRocket has been knocked into the water, and this looks bad for Snorlax, that beam was pretty powerful, yes, Snorlax is knocked out. Umbreon is chasing after Noctowl, leaving ChaosRocket to climb out of the water.

Back outside, Oracle's Charmander is summoning some rocks from the ground, it looks like a Rock Slide, they're being thrown towards Abysmal Flames - ow, a Kangaskhan pouch doesn't make that good a defense. Cyndaquil, Rhyhorn and Noctowl have just emerged from the Tunnel in a burst of wind which has blown away what was left of the smoke. Rhyhorn is sending out a flamethrower, Abysmal Flames and Kangaskhan are hit, Oracle and Charmander have disappeared underground again. Kangaskhan's baby has leapt out of the pouch and is performing another Earthquake! Doesn't look as though it was as powerful as her mother's but Cyndaquil and Rhyhorn are affected and Oracle's tunnel has caved in - from the blips on my radar, they're ok, but they've no doubt taken serious damage. Noctowl appears to be performing a Hypnosis attack, as Abysmal Flames & co are falling asleep. It looks like they're not the only one's affected - Heracross and arnold on the monorail platform look drowsy, as do Unown Annon and Zubat, who are staying put in the upturned booth.

I can see Jag and his Lapras coming in from the main section, they're heading towards the centre of the rides. Hissing Arbok, Mauler, Kadabra and Arcanine have just re-appeared - I wish people would stop teleporting about. Umbreon runs out of the Tunnel of Love at speed, right behind Noctowl.

Back to you, Knobert.

Once again, many thanks Rabscuttle. Well the main section is slowly losing numbers, but here's what's been happening:

This is certainly the calm before the storm. Knightwolf and Skazz spend their respective turns hunting the Sideshow Alley. Knightwolf searches until he finds a costume stall, and begins to survey the range, not interested in the battle until he gets a new outfit. Skazz meanwhile has found a microphone for his camera, and has plugged it in. He looks like a reporter now, though what he has planned is anyone's guess. Talking of people not doing very much, Scyther has jumped onto the monorail car that has just pulled up. She certainly is making herself comfortable, and is glad that she is finally able to get away from the alliance members still in the Main Section.

As for that alliance, although it crumbled earlier, Sponge has disappeared, and then reappeared again, with Archaic, who is looking a little beat-up. He tends to his wounds, applying bandages and painkillers. Looking better now, he stands tall again with Raichu by his side. However, Archaic is in far from good condition, and it won't be long before the pain sets in once again. DoctorRon also appears in the First Aid tent, with a hammer he has just picked up, and now Archaic, Sponge, Starmie3001 and DoctorRon look at each other, giving a nod of agreement. Sponge and DoctorRon move and grab a potion each, putting it in their pockets, ready for whenever it might be needed.

Now people are disappearing from the Main Section, as DarkHaunter93 sprints back into the Rollercoaster from whence he just came, and JagP finally moves into the Rides Section with speed from an Agility, giving Dragon Master a glance as he passes him. Noctowl: Mr. Ho is now stirring up trouble, as his Diglett moves underground and activates an Earthquake. Though everyone in the vincinity, i.e. Knightwolf and everyone in the First Aid tent takes minor damage, a loud creak can be heard from the Nature section, I wonder what that was...

Murgatroyd moves into the First Aid tent now, and there is a silence as he walks in. The group already assembled looks at the new arrival, but at the moment it is unclear whether he is an uninvited guest or not, as an eerie silence takes over. Starmie3001 looks across to the potions, and picks one up now himself, eyeing Murgatroyd as he does so. Finally, near the Rides entrance, Dragon Master looks around warily, as his Protect shield remains up around him and his Pokmon.

What will happen next round? Only you can tell!

-------
Round 5
-------

Fifth round action, and this is the biggest and most action packed one so far! Let's start off with Mozz...

"Wastin away again in margaritavilllllle......

Who cares aboot this friggin melee, there are only two people there anyway..."

Knobert: Well, it appears that Mozz and Wobby are.. umm... a little inebriated, as Tubbstar and Dark Haunter, with their respective Pokemon Machop and Haunter, are the only two remaining in the section.

"We aint imbrianated, we're DUNK!"

"Soooonanshu ahahah!"

Knobert: Yeah. Well, Dark Haunter sees Tubbstar, who is tired from the explosion a few rounds ago. A swift kick to the throat, and Tubbstar is down! A quick Psychic attack from Haunter to the weak Machop, and down it goes!! Tubbstar and Machop are BOTH gone, as Dark Haunter and his Haunter stand proud yet again! Let's move on to Surreal.

Umm. Grr.

As soon as Aaron the Great crouches down to grab some dirt, W Man's Dragonair has already released a freezing breeze into the Nature Park. The Blizzard's blue mist sweeps through with relative ease, freezing the ground and partially supporting the cracking ice. Fortunately, Dratini has put up a Light Screen to avoid most of the onslaught, but its still mildly shaken, while Aaron the Great appears to have several icicles dangling from various body parts. And, before Dratini can even fight back, I can see a white-and-blue blur fly out of the Nature Park.. Dragonair and W Man are out!

Trainer BriGuy is running away from Noctowl: Mr. Ho, instead going into the Nature Park.. that might not be a smart move, since more cracks are developing along the frozen wave.

X-Rok?

Whee, boring. Everyone's gone, the only action left here is Mewzard and Sniper404, but they seem to be going at it. The Dark room is now dimly lit through the open door to the deflated Trampoline room, and the camera watching the action has dropped the Night Vision. Obscor is gathering some heavy energy in his mouth, and there it goes! A large white beam is fired off at Gligar... and it misses, going straight on by and hitting the far wall as Gligar is not there, now reappearing just behind Obscor and nailing him hard with a Faint Attack. Obscor stumbles forward a bit, then disappears himself, reappearing behind Gligar to return the favor, nailing him with an equally hard Faint Attack. Gligar is knocked down, and skids across the floor a bit before returning to the air. He's not down yet.

Looks like we've got all the excitement Rabscuttle. I'll give my version of accounts now. Knightwolf and Skazz are still walking around the sideshows, they're not bored of picking up stuff that's for sure. Knightwolf has a hold of some sort of lance, he's looking at it with glee. Meanwhile Skazz is busy chopping up some wood into staffs. We'll leave them be for now, but they're obviously preparing for something. There's a noise, and I can see Noctowl: Mr. Ho staring in awe as W Man is racing out of the Nature Show at a rapid speed, he doesn't seem to want to stop. Elsewhere, Scyther is on the monorail approaching the near vacant Rollercoaster section.

Meanwhiles, the alliance of Archaic, DoctorRon, Starmie3001, Murgatroyd and Sponge are gathering around the two Starmie Pokmon. Everyone grabs a hold as the two powerful water Pokmon disappear in a brilliant flash. They're all gone now, and I can only watch and wonder what has happened to them. All of a sudden, the ground shakes slightly, Dragon Master is affected, as he falls to the floor, taking some damage. Suddenly, there is another brilliant flash just a few minutes later, and it looks like Archaic's alliance is back... minus Archaic. They all look in a pretty bad way, they all seem to have taken damage somewhat, except for Misdreavus, who appears to be in a better state than everyone else. Rabscuttle, fill us in.

Abysmal Flames and Kangaskhan are sleeping, ChaosRocket is still inside the Tunnel of Love and Unown Annon is still in the upturned booth. There's a general movement towards the Tunnel of Love as Pokemonger's alliance tries to regroup. Aipom is yelling out to his Noctowl - from atop the Ferris Wheel, I can't make it what he's saying, I sure hope Noctowl can...hang on, here's a group teleporting in just next to the monorail, there's Archaic, Sponge, Starmie3001, DoctorRon and Murgatroyd and their pokemon, they're surrounded by a faint blue glow - that's a Psychic attack from JagP's Lapras - she's holding them, but it looks to be a bit of a mental strain for her...Murgatroyd's Misdreavus isn't affected - that's a Spite attack against Hissing Arbok's Kadabra!

Whoa! There was just a whole bunch of electric attacks - from the looks of it, there was a Zap Cannon by Mauler's Arcanine that hit the monorail fence behind Sponge and Starmie, a Thunder from Rhyhorn which hit Starmie's Starmie, a fizzle from Umbreon and a Thunderwave from Raichu! There's mass paralysis - those around Mauler, Jag and his Lapras and Abysmal Flames and his Kangaskhan look to be shocked awake. With PokemongerGS and co still approaching, the battle looks to be in Archaic's favour. No, I spoke too soon, Aipom's Noctowl is releasing waves of Hypnosis - Archaic's squad are slowing down - here comes the rest of Pokemonger's alliance, they're not going to have too much trouble with half-asleep opponents.

Wait, I can see a glow from the monorail station - arnold's Heracross is leaping out - his hardened fist aimed at the ground.....

...I could feel a tremour here, I hate to think what it was like down there - well, it looks like everyone took major damage from that - paralysis and sleep are gone as everyone picks themselves up - neither of the two alliances expected that but they're still focussed on each other.

Murgatroyd's started to throw rocks at Mauler, who's trying to dodge, but he's still getting hit. Arcanine has just been hit by a Flamethrower from DoctorRon's Charmeleon! Arcanine doesn't look too good - now there's a Watergun from Sponge's Starmie - I think it's doing more harm than good! Raichu sends a thunderbolt at Arcanine - Arcanine is down! JagP and Lapras are charging in - yow, a bodyslam from Lapras...and I think Raichu may be out! JagP aims a kick at Archaic - half-blocked, not much damage, but Archaic isn't looking too crash hot....Cyndaquil gives a kick to Starmie3001's stomach...Mauler's running at Sponge, a kick by Mauler..a punch from Sponge...DoctorRon is swinging a hammer....and Mauler is out! Hey, Misdreavus is still half-asleep - Murg is trying to wake him. Sponge runs up to Hissing Arbok, and punches him in the face. Here come's iron scizor's scizor - he's going for Heracross and slashing him once, twice! ChrisM and Kadabra run up to Abysmal Flames and Kangaskhan, but they're already out. Aipom's charging at Archaic, there's a blow to the stomach - barely blocked - A punch in the jaw....Archaic is down! There's a shadowball from Misdreavus to Hissing Arbok's Kadabra! Here comes PokemongerGS, he's running up to Sponge - punches him in the eye, Sponge is backing off....and disappears. Those left of Archaic's alliance have teleported away!

A quick recap now that there's a moment of quiet - Archaic and Inazuma are out, Mauler and Sparky are out, Abysmal Flames and Rooman are out...and checking my equipment, I can see that Oracle and Flare were knocked out by the earthquake. Those that are left aren't looking too good - Hissing Arbok and his Kadabra won't last much longer, and everyone else doesn't look much better. Those further away took slightly less damage, but it's still showing. Heracross has a sore arm and an angry scizor to deal with and I think arnold looks a little shaken too. Some of the taller rides are also looking a little unstable, and I'm forming the opinion that the top of the ferris wheel isn't a good place to announce from....

What a round! So many knockouts! Keep those attacks coming in!

-------
Round 6
-------

Round 6!

Here we are again, back into the thick of the action. Here's the latest for Round 6. I'll go first this time.

Things are going along as usual here in the main section. Skazz is sitting around this turn having gathered quite an arsenal of... TV equipment, along with a staff. And talking of just sitting there, Dragon Master is also staying still for now. No wait, they're both on the move now, Skazz heading towards the First Aid tent, and Dragon Master moving towards the Rides section, looking for some action. Near the entrance to the Nature Show, W Man is still slowing down from the Extremespeed from last turn. He's moving with some pace towards the Sideshow Alley, and has taken refuge behind one of the stalls, and Dragonair has put up a Light Screen for defence. But no one is interested in the pair at the moment, so they're safe and sound.

Also near the entrance to the Nature Show is Noctowl: Mr. Ho, and he's simply letting his Diglett Dig down underground, making quite a sizable hole. Is Noctowl: Mr. Ho trying to trap someone? Hang on, he's jumped into the hole. And now a Mud-Slap attack is being used, Diglett has sealed the hole! I can't see Noctowl: Mr. Ho anymore, he's disappeared from all of our screens! Meanwhile, Knightwolf is still walking through the sideshows, looking for some armour. And he's found it from a costume stall. What is he planning to do with all of his knight's gear now?

The real action is happening in the First Aid tent. Murgatroyd grabs a potion off the shelf quickly and puts it in his pocket. He then administers some First Aid to himself, and Sponge does the same. Having done this, Sponge and Starmie3001 both use Potions on their Pokmon, making them look much healthier again. Sponge and Starmie3001 go to grab another potion, but to their dismay, Murgatroyd has taken the last one! Looking frustrated, they curse under their breaths, and prepare for an assault. There is a brief moment when all four trainers in the First Aid tent grab each other, then the two Starmie, looking really quite tired, Teleport away again. There are a series of loud crashes, and only Starmie3001 and Murgatroyd reappear.

And another loud crack and crash, and looking toward the Nature Show, I can see a huge wave of water rushing out, sending the teams of Trainer BriGuy and AarontheGreat zooming out of the park! The wave has covered a large area, but has stopped just short of the sideshow alley, to W Man's relief. The trainers are picking themselves up slowly, coughing and spluttering, but still ready to fight, although weakly. The water is beginning to seep through the ground, and this surely can't be good news for Noctowl: Mr. Ho, who is just underground. Could his hiding trick backfire in the cruelest way?

I can see a lot of dust rising from the Rides section, lets nip over there right away, and to Rabscuttle!

Pokemonger's alliance are heading towards the gate - no doubt in pursuit of their attackers. arnold's shouting something to Heracross - Heracross is trying to get past Scizor, but Scizor won't let him - Scizor hits with a nasty looking Fury Cutter. Heracross is retaliating - he holding Scizor with a Leer, followed up by a Horn Attack! Scizor is knocked back, no Scizor comes back with a Cut...and Heracross is down!

Most of pokemonger's alliance are by the gate now - B-ball Natu is still a little behind. Aipom's Noctowl is creating a Whirlwind - ewww...it's turning purple - it's being filled with Toxic. And Noctowl is blowing it through the gate into the park - I'd hate to be hit by that....

Wait, there's DoctorRon, Murgatroyd and Sponge by the Tunnel of Love again - they're looking a little better than when they left - DoctorRon's Charmander is using AncientPower - rocks are flying - most of them are hitting Umbreon, although Pokemonger, Cyndaquil, Rhyhorn, Jag and Lapras are being hit too. A Kadabra - ChrisM's - is glowing, and he's thrown Charmander back against a barrier with Psychic. The alliance is turning to face the attackers - but Charmander is back up and drawing in power...there's a Fire Blast! No, it's completely missed them, and it's hit one of the station supports.

This looks bad for the trio - they're outnumbered - Misdreavus is glowing, using a Shadow Ball attack - I'm not sure who the attack is against... he's going for ChrisM's Kadabra! But the attack has skewed just wide thanks to some lingering Psychic energy, and smashed into the station. Oh god, this doesn't look good. And Misdreavus is not alone, Starmie3001 and Starmie are on the opposite side and Starmie is using Psychic to shake it too. After all that's happened, 'stable' is not how I'd describe the monorail station. It's starting to tip! Suddenly, a slight rumble is felt on the ground, a powerful Earthqake is happening elsewhere, and although the vibrations are not enough to really cause any damage to anyone, it is all that the station needs to move that last inch. Pokemonger and company have realised what's happening and and they're runn....

*CRASH*

Holy ravioli, the station is a pile of metal and rubble - the monorail track is broken - there's a lot of dust - it's hard to make anything out yet...uh-oh, it's started a chain reaction, the giant slide is collapsing...there goes the mine-cart ride...onto the Haunted House....DoctorRon's alliance are trying to teleport away again, and I can't say I blame them in this chaos - but wait, only two of the four have gone! Sponge is shouting wildly at his Starmie to teleport, with DoctorRon waiting next to him, but Starmie is simply shaking its head! It's out of Psychic energy, and can't teleport again! And who could blame it, it's been going at it to the extremes of teleporting!

Scizor, B-ball Natu and Donphan weren't under the station when it fell, so they're mostly ok - Scizor looks really spooked though, and I think B-ball got hit by some shrapnel. Unown Annon has been unfortunately squished by a mine-cart, but I can see Zubat - he's still flying, although his condition isn't the best. Half of the rides have collapsed now - the dust is settling a bit ... I can see ChrisM - he's digging out Aipom from the rubble - Aipom looks really bad - Noctowl is flying down to him - it looks like Noctowl managed to fly above the devastation. And that's JagP with a Kadabra - I think it's Finklebaum, ChrisM's. That's all..no, wait Pokemonger is down there, still standing - sort of - there's something wrong with his leg...... Checking the radar, there's no-one else. It seems arnold didn't survive the fall, and Cyndaquil, Rhyhorn, Hissing Arbok, Absi, Lapras and Umbreon have all been crushed. The team of Sponge and DoctorRon have also taken quite heavy damage, and are looking nearly out, having also been on the receiving end of some heavy rubble. Whoever set off this chain of events with their earthquake will be much richer in points after this Grand Melee!

From chaos and destruction, this is cat's-rubble, err, Rabscuttle, back to you Knobert...

Thanks Rabscuttle, now moving swiftly on to Surreal.

Well, nothing exciting here.. Aaron the Great and Trainer BriGuy are facing off, Dratini against Porygon. Porygon starts out this battle with a Return, slamming into Dratini as he retaliates with a Thunder Wave. Now paralyzed, Dratini eagerly Slams into the programmed Pokmon, throwing it into the frozen monument that is the wave. It cracks, and small fissures rise upwards, some water leaking out.. dum dum dum.

Suddenly, the wave explodes, sending icy sharpnel and water everywhere! Trainer BriGuy and Aaron the Great, along with their Pokmon are easily swept away by the water, being carried off to the right, out of the Nature Park! That's so.. posh. ~~;

OK Surreal, it seems like you don't have much to talk about now, what with everyone gone and all ^_^;;. But The Mozz has some action now, and it appears like a problem for one particular trainer.

It seems that Mozz has let all of his Pokemon out in his ref cage, so now 6 bloodlusting Pokemon and 1 bloodlusting weirdo drool as DarkHaunter runs around the section, looking for people to fight.

Their real interest lies with Scyther though, as she and her Charmeleon are in the monorail, as it comes across a VERY shaky section of the track. Thanks to the meteors from a while ago, a large portion is basically missing, as Mozz's Pokemon look on, holding pennants that say "Go Blood!"

Scyther and Charmeleon brace themselves, as the monorail simply falls off, dropping a hundred feet to the ground!!

Scyther and Charmeleon crawl out, how, I don't know. They somehow crawl out of the flaming wreckage, but they are in horrible shape!

Dark Haunter runs in after hearing the crash, and goes to help Scyther out. It seems to be a fraud though, as DH simply lands a solid shot to Scyther's precious face, putting her out, as Haunter performs a Hypnosis/Dream Eater combination, giving Haunter yet another Knockout!!

Mozz's Pokemon look like Itami after watching Silence of the Lambs, the expressions on their face priceless, as Mozz gets out a box of tissues.

Knobert, back to you.. I need a cig...

Thanks Mozz. o_O. Remind me to put a leash on him some day. Finally, to X-Rok, and our final result of this round. Will yet another knockout happen?

Round 6, FIGHT! Well, maybe elsewhere, right now it's pretty empty in here. Only one conflict of notice, same one we had last round. Mewzard and Sniper404 are still going at it, but it looks like Gligar's running on empty. We'll see what happens.

Gligar is the first to move, and a dive at the ground produces a quite powerful Earthquake, it's really going at it. Obscor stumbles back, quite shaken by the quake, while both Mewzard and Sniper404 end up on their asses. The ground tremor coninues and fades away, but that doesn't prevent Obscor from using another Faint Attack, finding its mark and sending Gligar down to the ground hard. He's now motionless, it looks like he's done.

Right alongside this KO, Mewzard is the first back to his feet, but slightly distracted as he sees Gligar unconscious, Obscor snarling nearby. He looks like he intends to do something about it, narrowing his eyes at the Houndoom. But Sniper404 is back up now too, and going on the offensive as he comes in towards Mewzard. Mewzard sees him coming, including the kick, and tries to block. But he's just a tad slow, and the power of Sniper's kick overpowers the block of Mewzard's hands, and the toe of Sniper's shoe hits its target. The family jewels.

Mewzard feels it bad, and hunches over a bit from the pain. Not exactly an entirely crippling pain as it could have been, but enough for Mewzard to keep his guard down as Sniper throws a heavy punch, practically crushing Mewzard's neck. He falls over from the blow, and isn't looking in the best of conditions, crippled in pain but not unconscious yet while Sniper404 looms over the fallen body, ready to finish him...

Well that ends another intense round! Send your attacks and keep checking back for the results of Round 7!

-------
Round 7
-------

I'll be starting off this round of results.

The action continues in the main section, if it doesn't anywhere else. A Toxic tornado comes roaring across the main section, getting ever closer to the middle of the arena. It sucks up one unlucky trainer, Dragon Master, and he cannot be seen anymore, though it can't be good inside there. Speaking of the middle of the arena, Knightwolf and Skazz are still wandering about, looking cautiously around everywhere. At the same time, Starmie3001 and Murgatroyd are running through the very same Sideshow alley, and the four of them, Skazz, Knightwolf, Starmie3001 and Murgatroyd all meet up at the same place. They look like they have a sense of purpose on their faces, but they don't stay that way for long, as they spot the Toxic tornado coming ever closer to the first aid tent. Then their expressions change to a more relaxed one, as Starmie uses probably the last high energy attack it will be able to handle in a long time, as it creates a large Protect around the group.

Moving along to nearer the Nature Show now, a flustered AarontheGreat moves rapidly off of the water, which begins retreating. He gets off of the water just in time, as W Man's Dragonair jumps out and uses a Thunder on it. A powerful bolt of electricity is sent charging down towards the Earth, leaving the water filled with electricity. Until most of the electricity discharges into Trainer BriGuy and his Pokmon. But the punishment does not stop there. Dragonair and W Man move out and Trainer BriGuy and his unfortunate Pokmon are frozen to the spot. Trainer BriGuy appears to be unconscious, but his Charmeleon, despite all odds, seems to still be in it. Meanwhile, the aforementioned AarontheGreat has stopped moving, in a rather open spot, and his Pokmon, Dratini, is happily using a Rest to get itself back in top shape. AarontheGreat is using this chance to catch a breather as well.

Back in the first aid tent now, and the Toxic tornado is closing in, and ChrisM suddenly Teleports in with his Pokmon, Kadabra. Kadabra is looking puffed out, and ChrisM looks in vain for an Ether. However, ChrisM does take a Revive, as does Kadabra, the only two Revives in the whole park. Kadabra's fist suddenly becomes covered in fire, and a Fire Punch is used on the TENT. Yes, that's right, tent. It goes up in flames very quickly. Then, with a look of pain on its face, Kadabra and ChrisM Teleport away once more. The gathering of Starmie3001, Murgatroyd, Knightwolf and Skazz look at the tent with a puzzled expression, wondering how it got like that. Then they look at each other simultaneously, and start running for their lives as they realise the Toxic tornado is about to hit the tent.

Just as the Toxic tornado is about to hit, the floor of the First Aid tent shakes, and out pops Noctowl: Mr. Ho and his Diglett. They look worried as the building they are in is on fire, but in a few seconds they don't need to worry about that anymore.

BOOM!

This isn't pretty. The group of Starmie3001, Skazz, Knightwolf and Murgatroyd have been flung all the way out of the Sideshow alley from the explosion, I don't hold out much hope for any of them. Hang on, they're all getting up, and they look fine! Of course! Starmie's Protect has saved this group! What a stroke of luck for them! I can't say the same for Noctowl: Mr. Ho... or the parts of him that are still recognisable at least. And the same goes for Dragon Master I'd assume, but unlike Noctowl: Mr. Ho I can't identify any part of him. It's a mess down there, and the whole sideshow alley is up in flames. Finally, I can see a Scizor has made an appearance in the main arena. Not sure who's it is or who it's after. Well if there's more carnage anywhere else I'd be surprised. This is Knobert, signing out.

Onto the rest of the team, starting with X-Rok.

Mewzard still lies on the ground, semi-crippled from Sniper404's attacks last report. Sniper still stands over him, looking down and considering how to put him out of hs misery... then tunrs and leaves, heading over towards Obscor. Mewzard begins to move, and starts getting up, making it to his hands and knees while Sniper404 stands next to his Houndoom.

"Obscor, Smog," Sniper says while pointing at Mewzard, and Obscor opens his mouth to exhale a thick cloud of gas. It engulfs Mewzard, and Sniper climbs onto Obscor's back and they make for the exit, jumping out of the door and into the destroyed trampoline room that still kinda smells like burning rubber, away from the gas which sends Mewzard coughing all the way to a poisoned unconsciousness.

Another knockout there. What's happening in the Rollercoaster section Mozz?

Flaming wreckage.

Knobert, if you could help us here, it would be greatly appreciated. I need some paper towels, a bottle of scotch.. er.... 2 bottles of scotch...

Other than that, Dark Haunter and his namesake are doing nothing... Waiting for someone to come....

Knobert, back to you! Ewww!! All over my shoe!!!

NB: Nothing happened. Period.

OK then. And Surreal, any... er, rare Pokmon around?

Not that I can see. However, the water is really pretty, and electrocuter-y. And retreating. Whee. Nobody's here, how boring..

And what about you Rabscuttle, finish off the result for us please.

Things are a bit quieter down here now. The remainder of Pokemonger's alliance have gathered together and they're digging in the rubble, no doubt searching for survivors. ChrisM and Kadabra have just teleported away. Scizor is still looking freaked out - he's leapt into the air and now he's flying through the gate out of the Rides. Zubat is staying put, but is keeping a close eye on everyone else.

Sponge and DoctorRon, along with Starmie and Charmander - no, Charmeleon, sorry, are heading towards the Tunnel of Love, which is still standing - B-ball Natu and his Donphan are in pursuit - they look to be quicker than their more injured rivals - Donphan's just gone into a Rollout attack -he's swerving to avoid the rubble, but he's going to catch them - and he knocks into Starmie! Donphan is turning for a second attack, but he has to detour around piles of rocks - Sponge has grabbed Starmie and they've disappeared into the Tunnel of Love. B-ball reaches the entrance as Donphan rolls back around and they go in together.

Back at the ex-station, Jag, Pokemonger and Aipom are shifting the rubble, Pokemonger and Aipom are doing what they can despite their injuries - I can see a spot of blue, I think they may have found Lapras - although she won't be much use knocked out - ChrisM and Kadabra have just teleported back - Chris is doing something to Lapras - hey, he's revived her! Lapras is back in the game, although she's still half buried and I'm not sure how healthy she is.

There's an explosion from the Main Section - oh well, at least other sections besides mine are getting destroyed. Let's check out what's happening in the Tunnel of Love.

Let's see, inside the Tunnel, DoctorRon and Sponge have come to a stop - Sponge sets Starmie down - Starmie looks to be trying to Recover - I think it's working a little, but Starmie still looks pretty pooped after all that teleporting. Charmeleon is studying Starmie - now he's trying to mimic the Recover - he's only having a little more success than Starmie. DoctorRon is looking for pursuit as Sponge pulls a potion from his pocket and gives it to Sta...whoa! ChaosRocket comes out from the shadows and kicks DoctorRon in the back! DoctorRon stumbles forward, but manages to turn and block a follow-up punch. Charmeleon starts to blow a smokescreen towards the entrance - it's too late - Donphan rolls into Charmeleon, spinning him around and blowing smoke everywhere...I think I could just see B-ball running up and swinging at Sponge before my screen filled with smoke.
