The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is one of the world’s most well-known spectacles – watched by millions, the parade is the cornerstone of the Thanksgiving Holiday from coast to coast in the United States.
As always, we were greatly honored to be asked to participate once again. Thanks to the exposure brought on by the parade telecast, millions of fans both young and old can see the larger-than-life Pikachu balloon float down Central Park West on its way to Broadway, and them to Times Square, ending up at the doorway to Macy’s in Herald Square.
For those of you that just need to know, the Pikachu balloon is 65 ft. long, 30 ft. wide, 30.8 ft. tall and weighs 373 pounds. It uses 13,200 cubic ft. of helium and is maneuvered by 54 handling lines. It was accompanied on its merry way by the Pikachu Mobile.
Enjoy the pics, in case you missed it on television!
