"Not only do you have to win the Master Rank, you have to dominate!"
Wrong!
The game has hidden values that are called secondary conditions. These conditions are raised in your computer opponents, to a certain extent. You must surpass theirs, and win.
You *must* dominate in the second round, making sure that you got chock loads of Appeal Points, or AP. When you see this, it only shows these hearts. In these hearts are more than just one AP. About 5 is in each. i.e., Hyper Beam does 40 AP, but leaves you immoble for the next turn. In the second round, use combos. Not just combos...AP affecting Combos.
AP affecting combos are the ones that make your opponents lose AP. But there is another kind that is truly godly. The Nerve Combo. When you use two nervous inflicting moves, in a combo, it sure helps.
Now, you are probably thinking: "What are these secondary Conditions?!żˇ" These, my friend, are them.
Cool: You must also raise Tough and Beauty.
Beauty: You must also raise Cool and Cute.
Cute: You must also raise Beauty and Smart.
Smart: You must also raise Cute and Tough.
Tough: You must also raise Smart and Cool.
Also, use Scarfs! Even if ya haven't max out lets say Cute for a Cute Contest, give the Pokémon a Blue Scarf or Green Scarf, to raise the secondary stat!
Good luck on your painting/contest trial. If you need further help, PM on the boards, I am Jirachi, or E-Mail me at customsigma@yahoo.com
