Now that we finally got our 8th badge, we can use waterfall! Lets go to the last place we did not explore, all the way to the east, Ever Grande City. However there is one small problem at this point, Champion Road. You need someone with Flash, Surf, Waterfall, Strength and Rock Smash to make you way through this place. If you dont like random battles, be sure to bring along a few Max Repels. Once you enter, go north. Go up these stairs, and cross that bridge. Fight the trainer, go downstairs, and then use Flash. Here is a small Strength puzzle, nothing too difficult, then go across and Rock Smash that rock. Then go along that path, go upstairs, then cross that bridge. Go back down, fight the trainer, then go south, then west. Go down those stairs. You will see a female trainer here. Fight her and then go more north and use Surf. Go west up the first waterfall you see, then continue going west. Go down that other waterfall then head east. You should see some stairs going up, so go there. You are nearing the exit! So now head south, solve that little rock puzzle, then go upstairs again. Now cross that bridge, then head north. You will see a trainer. Fight him, then go under a bridge. You are so close to the exit! Too bad you will find Wally chase after you and challange you. Once you beat him, continue along and you are done! Now for the Elite 4. They are smarter than normal trainers, so they will bring out whoever they think is good against your current Pokemon, so these Pokemon may not always be brought out in order.
Now be sure to heal up before you advance. Also, the Elite 4 is not easy. The highest level Pokemon that you will see is level 58! However, with at least a few Pokemon around level 50 with many healing items should do the job. At the Ever Grande store, the second item is a Hyper Potion. The 5th item is a Full Heal, and the 6th item is a Revive. Be sure to stock up on these. When you think you are ready, talk to those 2 guys. They will let you pass, and onto your first opponent. He trains only Dark Type Pokemon. Your first opponent is a guy called Sidney. He has 5 Pokemon and will give you 4900 Yen. His first Pokemon is a Mightyena, which is level 46. This Pokemon is the evolved form of Poochyena. He is not too hard, and will give 1261 Exp. The second Pokemon is a level 48 Shiftry. This Pokemon is a Grass/Dark Pokemon. He gives 1861 Exp. His 3rd Pokemon is a level 46 Cacturne, which is a Grass/Dark as well type. He is not hard either, however he knows Spikes, so be careful. Sidney's fourth Pokemon is Sharpedo, level 48, and is Water/Dark. He will give out 1800 Exp. His final Pokemon is a Absol, which is level 49, which is a pure Dark type. He is not too hard either, and will give 1827 Exp.
Our second opponent is a female trainer by the name of Phoebe. She wields ghost type Pokemon, which are very annoying. She will give out 5100 Yen when you beat her. Her first Pokemon is a level 49 Dusclops. It is a pure Ghost type. However you will need to watch out, as it knows Earthquake. Once you beat it, it will givbe you 1840 Exp. Her second Pokemon is a level 49 Banette. It is a ghost type obviously, however it knows Spite. Be sure to try to KO this Pokemon as fast as possible. It will give you 1857 Exp when you beat it. Her third Pokemon is a Sableye, which is level 50. This Pokemon is a Dark/Ghost type! It can be annoying due to few weaknesses, but if you do beat it, it will give you 1050 Exp. Her fourth Pokemon is another level 49 Banette. It is pretty much the same one as before, so just try to KO it quickly. Her final Pokemon is another Dusclops. However this time it is at level 51, and will give 1956 Exp. Just try not to use any types with a ground weakness and you should be ok.
The third trainer has to be the most shocking opponent yet. Incase you don't regonize her, she is Lorelei. As you can guess, she has all ice type Pokemon, and she is one of the more harder trainers you will face. Like the rest of the trainers, she has only new Pokemon. Once you beat her you will get 5300 Yen. Her first Pokemon is a Glaile, which is level 50. Quite an odd looking Pokemon, and is pure Ice. It learns Hail, which is like Sandstorm, dealing damage to everyone except for Ice types. Weather moves in this game to not go away unless you override it. So unless you have another weather move, prepare for an annoying match. Other than that Hail move that Glaile knows, it is not too hard, and will give out 2002 Exp. Her second Pokemon is a Sealeo, which is level 50. It is an Ice/Water type, and knows Body Slam. It will give you 1371 Exp when you beat it. Her third Pokemon is another Sealeo, except this one is level 52. This one will give you 1425 Exp. Her fourth Pokemon is another Glaile, level 52. It is not too difficult, and will give you 2083 Exp. Her final Pokemon is a Walrein, level 53. It is the evolved form of Sealeo, and is more harder to beat. If you manage to take it down, you will get 2174 Exp.
Im sure this must be a strain on your PP by now. But I guess that must not be a problem for a great trainer like you! The fourth trainer is a strange Pirate guy. His name is Drake, and he seems to have dragon types. His first Pokemon is a Shelgon, and is level 52. Beware as it is a Dragon Type. It is not much of a threat and will give you 1603 Exp. His second Pokemon is a Altaria, which is level 54. It is a Dragon/Flying type Pokemon, and I'm sure you have seen this Pokemon before. It knows a fire move and a ground move so be careful! He will give you 2175 Exp! His third and fourth Pokemon are both Flygons. It is a Ground/Dragon type. They both give 2236 Exp. His last Pokemon is a level 55 Salamence. It is the fully evolved form of the first Pokemon. It is a Flying/Dragon, just like Dragonite. Once you KO this Pokemon, you will get 2568.
Wow, you finally beat them all! But wait a second.. isn't that the guy that helped you out during your quest, Steven? Well it seems he is your rival now, and he challanges you! You will get a large amount of Yen from beating him, 11600! He is known for switching alot, so be careful. His first Pokemon is the only Pokemon in this league that is not new, Skarmory. It is level 57 and will give you 2052 Exp. His second Pokemon is a Claydol, level 55. It is Ground/Psychic, and it is not too hard to beat. It will give you 2227 Exp when you beat it. His third Pokemon is an Aggron, a Steel/Rock type Pokemon. It may seem powerful, however a simple ground attack will deal massive damage to it. It will give you 2460 Exp. His fourth Pokemon is a Cradily, level 56. It sis a Rock/Grass type, however it is not hard at all. It will give you 2412 Exp when you beat it. His fifth Pokemon is a Amarold, level 57. This Pokemon is also a Rock/Bug type. He is not too hard to beat, and will deliver 2400 Exp. Steven's final Pokemon is a level 58 Metagross. It seems to be Psychic/Steel. This Pokemon can be annoying, but is not too difficult. He will give you 2610 Exp! Pat yourself on the back! You finally did it! You will go to the hall of fame, your Pokemon will get medals, which can now be seen on your Navigator, and you will see the ending credits.
Ahh you beat the game! All is done right? Well not really. You will start at home. Go downstairs and some guy will give you a Ship Ticket. Now go to Slateport City or to Lilycove City, and look for the docks. You will see a ship. Talk to the lady, and select to go to Battle Tower. A place where you can compete against other trainers! There are 2 levels of battling, level 50 and level 100. You can get some cool items from this, but you have to fight a bunch of trainers. You can go fly somewhere else if you want, all you have to do is come here once, if you want to return you can always fly back.
